Burberry SS16: Misha Hart, May and Ruth Bell

It’s ad campaign season again and the SS16 creative campaigns are going to start coming thick and fast in the next few weeks. First up is Burberry with a line-up of relative newcomers, all shot by Mario Testino.

And the campaign is big. No, wait – it’s HUGE. There are 40 shots in total featuring emerging stars Ruth and May Bell, Eliza Fairbanks, Bella Yentob, Misha Hart, Hayett Belarbi McCarthy, Dylan Brosnan, Liam Gardner, Sol Goss, Ben Gregory, and Louie Johnson.

What do we get? A campaign that has a focus on accessories (after all, that’s where the margins are) and that’s a bit edgier than the usual Burberry gloss. Even Ruth and May Bell in little else but Burberry scarves look at lot less glam than Rosie Huntington-Whiteley does in a similar shot for the Burberry Christmas campaign.
